Work through the steps of a procedure the old fashioned way
If you render the Technique procedure from the previous page into a PDF, you can print it out and then work though it.

For a short procedure you can keep your place in your head. For a longer one,
mark off what's done as you go — a printed checklist works well, as does
simply using a pencil to mark a copy of the source.
The value of having the procedure written down is that you can make notes and adjustments if necessary. For example, if you can't find all the ingredients, you can always use a gold brick and slice of lemon instead.
